THE NATIONAL BLACK MBA ASSOCIATION (NBMBAA)

The NBMBAA, Inc. is a business organization, which leads in the creation of economic and intellectual wealth for the black community. The NBMBAA was established in 1970 as an organization designed to further enhance the professional development of African-American MBA's in the business sector. As membership grew, the organization expanded its membership base to include not only those with MBA's, but all business professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, and graduate students.

NBMBAA- Kentucky Chapter

The mission of the Kentucky Chapter of the NBMBAA is to facilitate relationships between corporations, academic institutions, and small business sectors that promotes the professional development of African-Americans and enlists professionals in the continued enhancement of the community and corporate environment. The Kentucky Chapter consists of over 130 individuals from the Greater Louisville and Lexington areas. Furthermore, the Kentucky Chapter has the distinction of being one of the most innovative chapters of the organization. Louisville was honored with the distinction of "Chapter of the Year" for the year 2000.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The annual NBMBAA Conference allows members and students from around the country to network and share knowledge that will continue to advance their personal and professional development. Furthermore, extensive seminars and lecturers are presented to attendees by highly respected members of the business/ professional community on a wide array of topics.
